Video Games Are My Life - my game for Ludum Dare 37

Posted by Martin Vilcans on 11 November 2016

If you're locked up in a room with no console, how do you play your favorite genre - a platform game?

I made this game for the Ludum Dare 37 competition: Video Games Are My Life.

The rules of Ludum Dare is that you have 48 hours to create a game on a given theme. This time the theme was "One room", so naturally I thought of a small cell with no access to video games. So what do you do? Create your own game using the materials you have!

See the competition page to download, play and read the comments.

In this game, I won my first gold medal in a Ludum Dare competition! It was in the "mood" category. That's good, as creating a mood was what I really focused on.

I even got some awards!
