Rhythm Rogue - my game for Ludum Dare 41

Posted by Martin Vilcans on 24 April 2018

I made this game for the Ludum Dare 41 competition: Rhythm Rogue.

The rules of Ludum Dare is that you have 48 hours to create a game on a given theme. This time the theme was "Combine 2 Incompatible Genres". So I combined rhythm based movement with roguelike gameplay, with the graphics inspired by Pacman and Nethack.

Results

Top 100 in two categories - I consider that a good result, even though I don't think the game turned out to be that fun.
